| Kate McInerney |
Kate McInerney is a member of the firm´s Litigation Group. She deals with plaintiff and defence personal injury litigation, at both High Court and Circuit Court levels. She acts in particular for a number of insurance companies in litigation involving employer´s and public liability, property damage and road traffic cases. Kate also has experience in litigation arising out of commercial disputes, in debt collection and in family law matters. She also handles all aspects of employment law and advises both commercial clients and private individuals on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters. Prior to joining the firm in 2007, she trained and worked in a large commercial law firm in Dublin. Kate graduated from the National University of Ireland, Galway with a Bachelor of Corporate Law in 2003. As part of an Erasmus year in France, she completed a Diplôme Sciences Économiques at the Universitéd´Auvergne. In 2004, she obtained her LL.B from NUIG. She was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in January 2007. Kate also holds a Diploma in Employment Law from the Law Society of Ireland. She regularly volunteers with the Free Legal Advice clinic in Ennis.
