Rachael Leahy is a Partner specialising in Dispute Resolution, General Litigation and Commercial Law. She has gained extensive experience in the areas of litigation at all levels, including general personal injury litigation, property related disputes, commercial litigation. Rachael has particular expertise in the areas of Planning Law and Environmental Law and advises the Local Authority regarding all aspects of planning and environmental enforcement. Rachael also advises on Licensing law issues.

In addition Rachael advises on all aspects of general, commercial and property law including acquiring, selling, leasing and developing commercial property and advising on tax-driven investment schemes property and associated with property transactions.

Rachael received a Bachelor of Commerce and an LLB degree from University College Galway. Prior to joining Michael Houlihan & Partners, she trained and worked with one of the top five commercial law firms in Dublin. She was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in Ireland in 2000 and to the Roll of Solicitors in England and Wales in 2010. Rachael has previously tutored in business and commercial law at the University of Limerick. She is a member of the Ennis and Shannon Chamber of Commerce, the Clare Bar Association, the Dublin Solicitors´ Bar Association and the Local Authorities Solicitors´ Bar Association.
