Kate McInerney


A key member of MHP’s Litigation Department, Kate deals with plaintiff and defence personal injury litigation, at both High Court and Circuit Court levels. She acts for a number of insurance companies in cases that involve employer and public liability, property damage and road traffic claims. Kate also has experience in litigation arising out of commercial disputes, in debt collection and in family law.

Kate also handles all aspects of employment law and advises employers and employees in contentious and non-contentious matters.

Kate holds a first class honours Bachelor of Corporate Law from the National University of Ireland, Galway. She completed her Diplôme Sciences Économiques at the Université dˊAuvergne in France and obtained her first class honours LL.B from NUIG in 2004. Kate was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in January 2007 and holds a Diploma in Employment Law from the Law Society of Ireland. Before joining our firm, Kate worked in a large Dublin-based commercial law firm.
