With an Honours degree in Law and Accounting from the University of Limerick, Marina served her apprenticeship at our firm having joined in 2002. She was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 2007 and is today a member of the firm’s Litigation and Local Authority Departments.
Marina has significant experience advising clients across a range of contentious and non-contentious matters – with an emphasis on personal injuries litigation, commercial disputes, judicial review, regulatory, planning and environmental law. Marina is an experienced advocate who represents private, corporate and local authority clients in all courts. Through her work for local authorities, Marina has gained an in-depth knowledge of public and administrative law.
Marina also specialises in defence insurance litigation including road traffic, employer’s liability, public liability and product liability cases.
Marina holds a Certificate in District Court Practice and Procedure, a Certificate in Judicial Review, a Certificate in Technology Law and a Certificate in Enforcement for Regulatory Bodies, all from the Law Society of Ireland. She previously served as President, Vice President and Secretary of the Clare Law Association and has volunteered with the Free Legal Advice Panel in Ennis.
