Orlene Cox


Having attended NUI Galway and receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree and LL.B degree, Orlene served her apprenticeship at MHP and was admitted to the Role of Solicitors in 2017.

Today, Orlene works with John Shaw and Marina Keane particularly in the areas of litigation (both plaintiff and defendant), planning, environmental law, and judicial review matters. Orlene also has a special interest in, and experience with, employment law matters.

Orlene taught on the Georgetown University ‘Streetlaw’ programme – which teaches community groups about law, democracy and human rights, worldwide. She has also tutored on undergraduate courses and has been a teacher of adult education at Galway Technical Institute. She is a member of the Irish Women’s Lawyer’s Association and a member of the Clare Law Association.
